Unlike the conventional mode of delivery, in which a system is designed from scratch for each particular project, a TR Series* seawater desalination system is pre-designed up to scratch and ready to ship and, with its availability in a number of application types, sizes, and combinations, much of the design cost and lead time can easily be eliminated.
The system is configured as a self-contained collection of units so that it is both easy to transport and simple to install. Designed to a requisite minimum, its compact size will lead to reduced cost of transportation as well as facilitated installation even in a limited space.
The system is fitted with a state-of-the-art energy recovery unit developed to recycle the energy in the water gushing through it. Coupled with the reverse osmosis membrane method, long reputed for being highly energy efficient, the unit renders the system the ability to further reduce energy consumption through a synergistic effect.
Made from material with superb resistance to corrosion, the piping of the system fends off the corrosive effects of seawater, an issue that must invariably be addressed by all seawater desalination systems. The resulting long life of the system will also make for a lowered running cost.
The use of the ROMEMBRA* in the system promises a stable supply of high-quality fresh water backed up by Japan’s first and leading manufacturer of reverse osmosis membranes, among which the ROMEMBRA* is characterized by its versatility in high removal performance and permeability membranes.
